Senior Companion Program provides volunteers to assist Deposit-area elders with shopping and errand assistance. Fridays to stops in the Deposit area, Saturdays to stops in the Binghamton area.

Provides direct private care services as well as contract services ranging from companion level care to private duty nursing. Majority of services provided are at the home health aide and LPN level.

The Faith in Action Volunteers provides a network of volunteers recruited from various congregations to assist the frail, elderly, and disabled with daily activities, helping to maintain independence. Pre-registration with the program and needs assessment is required for assisted grocery shopping services.

Volunteers provide weekly grocery shopping, as well as bank/post office/pharmacy errands. Eligibility: 60 or over, physically unable to shop, and without family or friends to help. No fees; contributions are encouraged.
