| Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), a seasonal
program, provides financial assistance with fuel
or utility costs for income-eligible homeowners and
renters. Refers clients to appropriate agency for fuel
or utility emergency. Funding through Broome County
Department of Social Services. Eligibility: age 60
and over, or disabled of any age receiving Social Security
Disability (SSD) or Supplemental Security Income
(SSI). |
