The Faith in Action Volunteers provides non-medical transportation to medical appointments through a network of volunteers. Pre-registration with the program and needs assessment is required.

Provides free, local transportation to and from treatment facilities in Broome County, and to doctor's appointments for those in need. Volunteers provide service. Help may also be available for long-distance transportation expenses.

Interviews and matches volunteers with clients needing a variety of services including rides and escorting to appointments.

Volunteers provide transportation for veterans to VA clinics and hospitals. Must pre-register with discharge papers, and call in advance to schedule a ride.
