and Assistance Program (HIICAP). Assists in
understanding senior health insurance policy issues

“Medigap” health insurance options, retiree plans,
EPIC and other prescription drug coverage options.
Trained staff also provide long-term care insurance
counseling by appointment. Speakers and educational

| EPIC (Elderly Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage) | |
| Helps low- and moderate-income seniors, age 65 and
older, save on prescription drug costs. Under this costsharing
program, seniors pay a premium or meet a deductible
to join. Depending on cost of medicines, participants
pay a set co-payment at pharmacy for each

| Rural Health Network of South Central NY | |
| Pharmaceutical Patient Assistance Programs help individuals without prescription coverage obtain prescription medication for chronic health conditions at little or no cost. Rural Health Network assists individuals applying for these programs. |
